At the Winter Show, Bernard Goldberg Fine Art showed a rare and in near perfect (some restoration) rug designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Francis Little House in Peoria, Illinois in 1903 .  Frank Lloyd Wright designed furnishings for many of his houses.  He is well known for the furniture designed to complement his interiors; the coffee table shown on the rug is from the Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma – 1956.   But for reasons that are unclear few of his rug designs were produced.  There are no records about who made this rug.  Barbara Barran of Classic Rug Collections knew of the rug.  She is now producing several rug lines of inspired by FLW designs under the auspices of the Frank Lloyd Write Foundation — see Rug News andDesign, January, 2020, page 22
