For the next few days, Sarah Stroh, andDesign Editor will be looking and listening to what the market says a home needs. Is it updated colors, new designs? Could it be as simple as a new rug, updated tabletops?

Nelly, our Atlanta photographer will be posting updates on Walking the Market.  Sarah will be posting on Instagram things that capture her eye, tell a story, or has a good display. There are many things to learn at market. Here is just a taste of what was seen in the first day.

The coziness oozed out of the Jaipur Living showroom. They captured from cozy warm of gray’s to the warm tones of neutrals.

GoHome had these amazing books done by Brian and his team. The color and designs were incredible. They are old books rebound into a new look. Insides can either hold stories or blank pages. They can be custom made.

Shalom Brothers had a nice selection of modern to traditional handkotted rugs. Spoke with Vernon Singleton, Rug Concierge to designers and individuals. His insight into home design is valuable.

A visit with Michaelian Home shows of what you can do with hooked rugs. I am always drawn to the fish rug. They have a wide variety of choice in hooked rugs, pillows and other styles.

Keep following on the channels mentioned above to see what is going on during AmericasMart.
