Spoke with the son of Amy Helfand today regarding her new collection of Tibetan Rugs. Amy’s rugs are hand-knotted with luxurious Tibetan wool and Chinese silk. Currently she is displaying elements of patterns, asymmetry, traditionalism, and modernity within her work.
