Can you describe your business?
We are an interior design firm based in southeast Florida with a diverse clientele in a multitude of states: CT, NY, WV, Carolinas, The Bahamas, and Europe. We practice in both residential and commercial arenas. We have an in-house custom upholstery and drapery workroom and offer many fabric lines. We love all periods and immensely enjoy the use of color.
What markets do you attend?
We make a point of attending HD Boutique, Maison & Objets, High Point, Atlanta and Las Vegas Markets. We have fabulous design districts in Miami and DCOTA, Dania Beach as well as the Wynwood District.
Do you have a favorite source?
Our most favorite rug source is without a doubt Modern Nature Design for many reasons. Their chroma is vibrant; their silks are lustre-full and cleanable. We’ve found when used with wool we get a hugely dimensional effect. We respect their commitment to social responsibility: all production facilities are 100% child labor free. Panache is a socially conscious design firm. We love Durkan, a Mohawk Group, with a sustainable arm for hospitality projects and Interface when we have a need for floor tiles. We use Company C when time is of the essence and have been happy with results.
Do you have a favorite style or fiber?
Panache is silk fiber lovers because it allows for the vibrancy of color, cleanability, naturalness, and sustainability. We tend towards Tibetan rugs inspired by nature.
Do you have any suggestions for dealers?
Samples and color poms are crucial for making our job easier. We would love to have them on-hand in our libraries. Tools are everything.
Do you use social media?
We do use computer software to design our rugs, and we have ordered online from Company C. We use social media to connect; we’re on LinkedIn for business, Facebook business, Pinterest, Houzz and Twitter for social connections.
