What markets and/or design centers do you attend?
We frequently visit the Denver Design Center to see all of the new products the local showrooms have. We also visit Las Vegas for the Furniture Market and HD Expo. High Point Furniture market is another favorite of ours since it is the Mecca of furniture and interior design.
Do you have a favorite source for buying your rugs?
We have a variety of rug vendors we purchase from including Surya, Loloi, and several local vendors who have antique rugs and imports.
What feature in the rug is most important to you?
The fiber and construction are the most important features of a rug. We make sure to select a rug that will work well with the client’s lifestyle and one with longevity.
Do you have a favorite style of area rug?
We are loving hide rugs at the moment! They come in a variety of shapes and styles to match any style of decor. They add a great layer of texture and an organic element to a room.
Do you purchase many custom rugs?
We do purchase custom rugs from time to time depending on the client’s needs. We often do these to accommodate a large or abnormally shaped room.
For a casual room would you suggest anything in particular to your client?
For a casual room we love a fun printed rug to bring in some added color and texture that really pull the space together.
