Michaelian & Kohlberg, Inc. took 2 awards home during the America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards this year.
With the KK4-Horizon rug they won the Hand Knotted/Flat weave $0-30 per sq.ft. category. The KK4-Horizon collection offers a Hand knotted/hand weave Kilim from Afghanistan, it’s dominant color is teal, and the secondary colors are green and grey.
The Alhambra design won them the Hand knotted/flat weave $50-01-100 per sq.ft. category. Michaelian & Kohlberg brings with the Alhambra a traditional hand-knotted rug. Since its founding in 1921, M&K has epitomized the careful selection, interpretation and presentation of superior quality handknotted carpet design. Today old design is often mixed successfully with new design to create a timeless interior with personality.
