Carlstadt, New Jersey- August 6, 2012- Momeni has announced the hiring of Ashley Alford to the newly created position of Design and Marketing Associate. In her new position, Ms. Alford will be a key member of the design team active in creating, refining and promoting the Momeni design vision. In addition, she will help in the branding and marketing of the company. She will report directly to Reza Momeni, President of the Company.
Prior to joining Momeni, Ms. Alford served in several design posts, most recently at John Robshaw Textiles in New York. She is also a recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she was the recipient of many Honors and Showcase Awards. Momeni is a manufacturer and importer of fine rugs, carpeting and home accessories. Started in 1975, it has been owned and managed by the same family for its entire history. Recent expansions include the company’s broadloom division in 2010 and the Momeni Concepts custom area rug divison earlier this year.
