From Concept International's Medina Collection

Concepts International will be exhibiting for the first time at the New York International Carpet Show this September. Concepts International’s Charles Kalison comments, “We’re looking forward to the NYICS, as we’ve heard such good things about it. We’re in the better end of the hand made business and know that the show draws heavily on dealers who are in this end of the market.”

Concepts International’s space at NYICS will  emphasize its better hand knotted program rugs. An example is shown at left. This rug is from Concept International’s Medina collection. It is hand knotted in India, has 100% bamboo silk pile, and is programmed in four sizes ranging from 6’x9′ to 10’x14′.

Concepts International, which has been around for over 40 years, offers a cross section of rugs and broadloom. Its rugs range from traditional to transitional and contemporary, and include both standard size and custom programs. Its rugs are woven primarily in China, India, Morocco and Nepal.

Concepts International is based in Long Island City, NY. Contact information is at www.prestigemills.com. It has sales representatives throughout the US and in Canada.
