It was a pleasure to meet Angelo Surmelis last week at High Point Market. His rug line has great style for the budget consumer. His rug patterns tie in to the fabrics on his furniture. Rugs and furniture complement each other and can stand alone.
Angelo’s color inspiration was going opposite the current trend. He “loves being excited to walk into some home and being wowed.” After doing shows on TLC and HGTV he has seen many homes. In 2009, he launched his furniture line and this year launched his rug line.
The rugs currently come in 5×8 and 8×10 in Wool and Synthetic. These rugs are perfect for the starter home, the bachelor pad and for anyone who wants to be fashionable at a reasonable price.
