The High Point Market Authority, in association with the American Society of Interior Designers offered knowledgeable speakers to educate and inspire its members. The Design Viewpoints Series took place in Showplace West. The series offered continuing education units (CEUs), which are necessary for all ASID members, and all seminars were free to interior designers attending the High Point Market. Over 150 designers attended each luncheon.
The presentations were held at noon, as a delicious lunch was served, free of charge on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of market week. The three knowledgeable moderators were Deborah Sanders, who spoke on “Is the Price Right,” Deborah Needleman, who talked about “Outside Influences on Interior Design,” and Tobi Fairley, “Value Added Interior Design.” The first 100 attendees on Monday received a free copy of Needleman’s new book, “The Perfectly Imperfect Home.”
